I have a 03 yamaha warrior and there is something wrong with the carb. When ever I turn on the gas, the carb fills up and the gas just pours out of the overflow tubes. It will even do it if I get the engine started, I've only started it once since this has happened. I'm not sure what could be the issue and why the gas doesn't stop coming. Please let me know what you think could be the problem.

something with the float, either its getting stuck or its out of adjustment, try tapping the side of the bowl while the gas is pouring out and see if it slows or stops, if so its prolly definitely the float sticking

 

I'll second and 99.9% guarantee you its a stuck float. Tap on the float bowl and see if it stops happening, but it sounds like you need a good carb cleaning most likely.

There is nothing wrong with your carb, you just need to clean it out.

 

Agreed. You do not need any new parts, you just need to take it apart and clean it out. Routine maintenance.

 

Running crappy ethanol gas will deteriorate the rubber seal on the bottom of the needle. Or it could just be some junk between the needle and seat. I would just get a carb kit and/or some carb cleaner. Most of the time you can just take the carb apart, spray it down then put it back together and be good to go. One grain of sand inside your carb can cause havoc.
