Default Help with Blaster

Ok well I just bought a 95 I believe Blaster. It runs great sometimes, and then out of no where it looses spark. It will only give spark once and a awhile and will run for about 2 minutes then die. I know the coil is good because I swapped it with a known good one.

A stator would cause intermediate problems?

sounds like corroded or frayed wires somewhere, maybe the killswitch, if its not a faulty coil or stator.

Is there a way to disconnect the kill switch to rule that out?

all you need to do is just unplug the kill switch, that should tell you if it is the kill switch or not.what i have done on all my blasters is to put a extra ground wire from the motor to frame, where the gas tank bolts down,it never herts to have a extra ground

Well after looking at a wiring diagram I decided to hook up the cdi but leave the black/white wire disconnected. The black/white wire feeds the switch, carb unit, throttle unit, and control unit. If I leave this disconnected it runs.
