Default Warrior Help, what to buy?

Hey guys I'm new here and i just got a warrior a couple of weeks ago. It old i think he said it is a 94. After run for about 20 min it will cut out. The guy i bought it from said it just needs a new coil. Also electric start does work. I was also hoping to get a little more power out of it. Any exhaust recommendations and does that coil solution sound like it will fix the problem?

If it isn't running right how could you know you need more power? Warriors have never been known as powerhouses anyway. They are however, very durable and dependable quads that can be modified to suit. I am sure that you can get the help you need. Not a bad looking quad. Good luck with it.

thats older then a 94 thats more like 87-89 i think, electical components tend to act up when a bike warms up so most likely your problem is a ign coil, or a stator,a stator seems to be the #1 thing on warriors that causes the most problems, after you get it running right i would look into getting an HMF slip-on pipe its on of the most popular pipes for warriors
and isnt to pricey, and they sound good and make nice power.

Yeah thats an old school. 87-89 Warrior. HMF Sport exhaust is a Warrior favorite for most.

Even though it is older 87-89, it looks pretty good. If your looking for more power I would definitely throw on an aftermarket exhaust HMF is good I like my FMF. Also, look at getting a high flow air filter like a K&N and then some slightly bigger jets for your carb. Nice buy though just take a look at the coil and stator.

hey guys i finished up my work tonight. fixed starter which was a starter relay. i went with the stage 1 kit, intake and jets. On the instructions it told me i could go stage 2 and im going to be getting exhaust soon so i figured i would do it now rather than later. I finished everything up and it started great but as soon as i touched the gas it stalled. Once it got warmed up it would actually accelerate. I took it down the street and it seemed fine. I did the 2 1/2 turns back but which way should i turn it to lean it a little?

needles are like screws, if you turn it clockwise it will close which leans it out. counter clockwise will richen it up.

i always repair dented rims like that myself, i use a duct hammer and the right shaped sturdy piece of wood can do the trick or different types of punches and straighten it out that way, and it looks like new, just chips a lil paint off if there is any there.
