I understand that the K&N Jet Kit and air Filter are being released for the 2000 Kodiak. (Maybe they have been for awhile but this is the first I've heard of it.) I'm curious if anyone has tried the combo, and is it worth tearing the machine down?

 

I talked with Jeff Newman from Highlifter through email about 2 weeks ago. I asked him about the K&N air filter and he said they were working on it but since then had put it on hold. This is all he could say and it looks like it might be a long time before we get one. I have just made an adapter for my airbox similar to the Pro-Flow except mine didnt cost $70. My Kodiak is in the shop getting a new choke plunger installed and when I get it back Im going to install the adapter. Then I will order the correct universal K&N air filter that will fit the 2" abs tube Im using. I should also have the supertrapp by the end of the week.
