I don't really what it smells like, I really didn't pay attention to what it smelled like.

well usually when something is smoking or burning u cant help but smell it lol. i dont see what else could cause it to smoke other then the belt unless something else just completely got toasted.

Well maybe it's like papahpuse said, that the oil pump was dying???
