stress marks in raptor

Yes, try a hair dryer or heat gun before painting. The heat will dull the stress marks some, just don't overdo it and melt the plastic in the process. Yamaha blue plastic and stress marks are just a fact of life if you ride hard, lol.

I'm with 91warrior357. The only way to not see them would be paint. You can reduce them with heat and polish but, they will still be very noticeable. I wouldn't waste my time trying to get rid of them. Stinks I know. : \

ok thanks guys,
im trading a 99 sportsman 500 4x4 with 2000kms seat included for this raptor, i can see in the pic that its been rolled, the plastic has stress marks, tail light is broke. its looks to be in good shape other then that. what are some things i should look out for on this atv?
or am i out of my mined to trade. her is asking 2800. mine is woth 3000-3500 at last
