I can't tell what year that Blaster is, but did Yamaha put the parking brake switch on those as well? I know with the Warriors and Wolverines, if the switch goes bad, it will barely move when in gear, but rev freely in neutral. Sounds like yours revs nice when you pull in the clutch, so I would check that, I do not know the set up for the TORS on the Blaster/Banshee, but that might cause problems as well.
