electric turbo for a warrior?
#1
I want to buy a electric turbo for my yamaha warrior, im thinking thta i can just take out the air box and mount it to the carb and put a filter on the turbo and run the wires to the battery. Has anyone tried this before?

not knowing what kind of cfm this thing puts out at what voltage, hate to rain on your parade, but this doesnt really sound like a good idea at all.
Ive personnally seen these put on cars and with absolutely terrible results and i cant imagine what kind of charging issues youd have with. Get it wet and itll probally take a ****. Possibly notice some kind of power at slightly above idle but i highly doubt it would be able to keep up with a high RPM situation. Even if it does work, a custom cam and timing would prolly be a plus just like with turbo cars, even tho carbs and turbos dont mix well.
Back to the original question, if your really gung-ho about it and have the money, give it a try. Id be curious to see what hapens cuz ive never seen one on a small engine.
