Wolverine 450 Smoking?
#1
I have had my Wolverine up for sale for a while, so i havent ridden it in about 6 or 7 months. Well, this past weekend me and my dad went riding and he rode the Wolverine. When riding behind him i noticed that it would blow out blue smoke from the exhaust when he would get on the throttle. Also, it has a problem turning on and idling even with the choke on.
I thought it was just that it needed to be ridden some, but today i went to take it off of the trailer to put it up, and it wouldnt stay turned on and idling even with the choke on again. I gave it some throttle in hopes of helping it out, but it just blew out a bunch of blue smoke. It doesnt have any problems running other than just idling, and i changed the oil about 3 months ago. Anybody have any suggestions of whats wrong? Thanks

Blue smoke is burning oil. might of just over filled it. Is thier any oil in the airbox/filter? If that checks out OK your piston rings might be worn out, you can check that out with a compression test if ya know anyone that can do it.
