Default Warrior Front Master Cylinder

I just bought a rebuild kit off of ebay to rebuild the front master cylinder on my warrior. It was suppose to fit a Banshee 1987-1998, Warrior 1988-2003, Big Bear 350 1987-1998, Wolverine 1996-2003, & Kodiak 400 1993-1998. When I went to install it and the diameter of the plunger was to big to even fit into the cylinder. Does anyone know if the plunger is bigger on any of the other models listed or did this guy just send me the wrong thing? I emailed him and he just said send everything back for a refund. I don't want a refund I want the right thing.

Well, I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but if that is the case then everyone needs to be aware of "sledpartsguy" on ebay. I dont know why he would sell something that is so close to the real thing. Seems like it would be easier just to sell me the right part.

I just rebuilt my front mastercylinder on my 87, I paid 28 for a rebuild kit from my local dealer. That price was ok, what did you pay for the kit off ebay?

Well that may be part of my problem. I'm a cheap wad. I paid 12 bucks so it's not like I'm really out much but it is still agrivating. $12 lesson. I definitely had more expensive lessons.

I have purchased from him before and was completely satisfied. Getting a refund doesn't sound that bad, considering the alternative.

I think I finally figured out the problem. Last week I was looking around on ebay and I found this master cylinder rebuild kit for an 02-04 warrior. The plunger that I pulled out of my master cylinder looked exactly like this one, with the little piece on the end and both seals had holes. I didn't even know they made a different master cylinder for the warriors. Somebody that had the bike before me must of changed it out for a newer one. So, I guess it's really not sledpartsguy's fault although he did say it was for an 88-03 warrior. Anyways, I went down to the local Honda dealer and ordered one last week due here today, $20. I really don't like the local Yamaha dealer, I alway have trouble with them. I stopped there first and they wanted $40 and it wasn't going to be hear until later this week, which wasn't going to work. Hopefully this works because we are going on a 4 day trip starting tomorrow and I would really like to have front brakes again.

I have also dealt with sledpartsguy in the past and had no issues...
