vor does not make a quad, he is referring to the 503 vor mx and it is more like 8000, there are less than 50 vor 503 in the us

yes, there is to a VOR quad. it is brand new. you can see it right here: www.racerxill.com go to the page about the indy trade show. there is a picture of it on there. it only weighs 350 lbs an the cannondale weighs 365 lbs! so that means the VOR must have better power to weight ratio than the cannondale. so all that stuff they said on their site about having the best is now false hahahaha!

Snowmobile companies make race ready machines. So why not make race ready quads?

The VOR isn't a production bike either. Nice idea, but I think I could find a better use for $12,000! Plus it uses aluminum on the frame! God forbid! Actually it's got a little Ti in there too. The chassis/suspension is all Doug Roll designed.

That graph is false, it lists the Raptor's HP @ 28 when it is 38. This gives the Raptor Better-Power-to-Weight ratio.

The Raptor's Pow.-to.wgt. ratio is better than the Cannondales.

I wonder where cannondale got the black /silver idea from? YAMAHA It would be a nice quad, But Id have to chop those fenders on the front, looks to froggy. Its about a -2 in the cosmetics department, I just hope that european built engine will hold up. Yes they dont build their own engines, they make bicycles people. I saw in DW about 1.5 year ago and I believe it may have said VOR was actually going to build cannondales engines. Hopefully they will have some type of improvements over the MX400 that is plagued with problems. I hope to see some soon.

Here's what I was told by my dealer today during a quick chat:

The FX400 engine, while the same design as the MX400's, has over 50 changes to it. The major ones include a new case and a different ignition. The later was causing many of the problems on the MX400.

As for Cannondale shipping the FX, that's kinda tricky. Yes, they are shipping them, but so far they've only got a few out, mainly to the Pennsylvania area. He's expecting his first one in within the next two to three weeks(if it's a silver/black, it's probably mine). They've sent back a couple of the MX400s(they had a total recall on them) and they're getting the changes the FX received. One owner is getting new plastics, handlebars, riding gear and more.

Cannondale stole their silver/black scheme from Yamaha? That's a new one. Does that mean their red idea was stolen from Honda? Maybe Husaberg took their colors from Suzuki too?

I wouldn't worry about the European's engine building skills..KTM, Husaberg, Gas Gas, VOR, etc.

Cannondale builds their own engines. At first they were outsourcing it, but ran into quality control problems and have since moved manufacturing in house so they could control it.

I'll be excited to hear about your experiences with it, so be sure to keep us updated.
