Default Extended A- arms on a Yamaha Blaster

I need to widen out my son's stock Blaster. I was wondering if you can bolt up another set of wider A-arms from another Quad. Will something else fit or do you have to buy after market ones?

Look for used aftermarket a-arms on ebay. Nothing else will bolt up.

Speedy is right,.... Aftermarket is the only way to get the wider track on Blasters. Unless you can build your own.....

They do show up RARELY on ebay. The best bet would be to buy another blaster with the mods already done.

I also recommend you gusset the frame when widening, those A-Arm mounts (on mine too) are pretty weak looking flimsy stuff. I've been looking for a deal on some too. I want some with replaceable ball joints is my reasoning. I don't even care if they are wider at all.....

You can find a set of used a-arms for around or under $200 if you're looking good. do NOT cheap out and buy a "widening kit" off ebay for $60. If you want to see your son grow up you'll follow this bit of advice.

Safety is always our first concern. That's also why we race with the MMRS.ca up here in Ontario,Canada
