Default Timberwolf Rearend

I have come across Timberwolf that someone is trying to get out of there shop. Supposedly, the engine has been rebuilt recently and runs good but it needs a rearend. From the way this guy has been talking for the last couple of months i could pick this thing up for next to nothing... maybe $100. My first question is, is a timberwolf in this condition worth buying. I am just thinking about something for my wife to follow me around on. I was kind of wanting to get her something that was bigger, 4x4, and auto, like a wolverine but this sounds like a pretty good deal. Next question is, how much am I looking at for a new rearend and does it require any special tools, ie axle pullers or installers?

Any comments???? Is this a pretty common thing for these bikes?

I take it from other recent posts on here that nobody here knows much about the Timberwolf and that this seems to be a common problem. I guess I'll steer clear of this Timberwolf.

I would say take it, I have a Timberwolf and its a great little bike, get it home and take it apart it could be an easy fix even if it isnt, there is not much to the rear end so I cant see it costing too much to replace parts.
