Blaster troubles
#1
Just took my 01 blaster to the dealer could nt get it to run right. Just put new carb on replaced both gaskets up and lower. Just got a call from the dealer and they said "the bike has no compression" but when i took the motor a part to replace gaskets the piston and rings were fine. Could there be a crack in the head i just don t see thats causing this. Need some help im loosing my mind

If you're a mech. Take it home and figure it out. Buy a (whatever name brand you can find) manual, and start learning. If it had compression when you dropped it off, it probably still does.
"Not running right", is a vague description of your troubles, but I bet you could figure it out anyway..... be brave. Tackle it yourself. You'll be surprised how well you'll do. (and buy a torque wrench if you don't already have one....)

Not a lot of help from that last reply. There is a manual on line...http://www.rydindirty.com/blastermanual.pdf. Take a look. Explain what you meant by not running right. You might need a new plug ? You wasted your money on a new carb..should have just cleaned it out. If it ran it had compression. Might be a charge coil...look in the manual for the specs. Could be a broken reed ? Could be a lot of things. Tell us what doesn't run right mean...good luck.
