my warrior only runs with the choke on but idles high, and has gotten worse the few different times i took it around the block. it dies when you take choke off. some of the plastic on the outside of the carb joint is cracked but the dude at the yamaha store said its fine but i think there is a small crack in the rubber you can see inside. i also have NO AIR FILTER will that cause it to over rev. i bought the quad for a hundred bucks and it starts but i cant figure this out. i have cleaned everything in the carb the floats work i checked by blowing through the gas line and tipping the carb upside down and it stopped the air. can you help any..you also have to push it down a hill to start it so its not easy to work on by yourself so i havent tried brake cleaner
