Loosen the set screws on the axle nut. Loosen the axle nut. Remove the brake side wheel and hub. Remove the brake caliper. Remove the axle nut. Remove the brake rotor(you will probably need to use heat and a good allen wrench on these. I like the kind that you can use with an impact wrench.) Remove chain adjuster bolts(the 17mm ones that are near the brake rotor.) Remove the chain. Axle will slide out toward chain side. It may help to remove the other rear wheel as well. Axle carrier will also slide right out. You need a long punch and hammer(dead blow)to bang out the bearings. Smack them a few times in one place, then move a bit and hit it again. Keep working your way around in this manner. I put the carrier over a few blocks of wood so as not to mar it up. There should be a rubber seal and 2 sets of bearings per side.
When installing the new bearings, they need to be driven in evenly. Again, a block of wood and some patience will work well here. Put the wood over the bearing being driven to soften the blow and also disperse the force evenly. Reinstall everything else in reverse order. Figure a few hours if you have never done it before.
