2008 kodiak 450 rear inner cv boot and diff seal replacement

Question 2008 kodiak 450 rear inner cv boot and diff seal replacement

i have recently done the reverse overide to my bike. i went riding this weekend and got her really stuck. when i got home the rear inner boots on the cvs were ripped and the clips missing. the diff was also leaking oil from the inner seals . any tips on how to repair and wwhat may have caused this ? the bike is only a coupe of months old . I am going to try to warranty it but i am not sure if the will cover it. thanks

This does not sound like a warranty issue. To repair things you should get the manual and or the Haynes manual and replace them. As to what caused this? Maybe there was rocks, or sticks or who knows in the deep mud.

I agree -- warranty issue 100%. You have a 6 month warranty at a minumum with Yamaha.
