Might as well buy a top end gasket set. You'll be lucky to get the other parts off without ruining the old gaskets.
Should be an easy job if you've got mechanical ability and decent tools. Might be a good time to freshen it up while your at it.
Just don't let the timing chain fall into the case. It can be a bear to get back up and on the lower gear.

So is it pretty simple as just taking the head bolts off then the exhaust and sliding it up?Im buying a manual tomorrow and i bought the gaskets already. I was going to have a guy do it on the side but he seemed to be a scamer wanting me to bring it to his house and leaving it over night. He said it take 5-6 hrs but the Yamaha shop said 1-2 hrs MAx. Its so simple to steal a atv. In most states all you need to do is claim its custom and remove all serial # and give em a good paint job with custom plastic and the state will give ya a custom title. I learned this form a douche down the road which i then Had busted and got a few grand in rewards).

Yeah, it's pretty straight forward. I'm not sure about the 350 but usually take the cam cover off, remove cam gear, then pop the head off, then cylinder all the while keeping some tension on the chain.
Be a good idea to do the valve seals too while you have it apart. A cheapy valve spring compressor will get the valves free.

Just make sure timing is still correct after you get the tensioner back in place. May take a couple trys to get it right.

Yea it takes a little while just to get all the crap out of your way to get to it but over all it's pretty straight forward especially if you have ever replace the head gasket on something else. Like everyone said though don't drop the timing chain down in the engine.
