I have a 98 wolvy that the carb is destroyed and I have found a good used 2003 Wolvy carb will it work on my 98 wolvy? I noticed that the diaphram needle set and main jet are different will that make a big difference? If so can I just use the Needle set and jet out of my 98?

 

yamaha used two different carbs, seems like u have one of each. I am not familiar with the older style, but according to the service manual, the throttle cable set-up is not the same... it would be worth trying though. Do u have a manual?
