Default 2004 Yamaha Kodiak 450 camo

I'm having a problem guys,,, Quad sat last year in my heated garage for about 6 months...
ever since then,, Normally , choke it when I start it, starts fine... take choke off will not idle,
Idle gets better after it is really warmed up. but it is still not the good smooth idle it used to have. I adjusted the idle a bit, after it is warmed up if I hit the gas a few times the rpm's do not drop as quick as they used too. So if i'm riding some slow trails my engine braking does not work as efficient as it used to.
ran some sea foam through it.. maybe got a little better , but not much,,,when I start it when it is cold with the choke on and then reduce choke it seems like it wants to back fire, but it does not, its right on the verge,,, Any suggestions???? Remove carb and clean???
