Who has old rear brake cable set up to sell for 98 Blaster??

Hi, I am looking to buy a original set up, now I have a hydraulic set up from a unknown machine, they just say cp on them. Yamaha could not match the brake pads with anything.

If it was homemade, it could be a brake assembly off a street bike, look into that before you remove the whole system. Hydraulic brakes are a lot better than the old mechanical brakes that came stock. And don't just limit your search to Yamaha brands, I saw one set up on a Blaster where a guy used the caliper and pads off a Honda street bike,he made a bracket to bolt it on in place of the old mech. one.

I thought CP was a performance company that made stuff like that. Turns out it's a marine performance focused co.
I think you will be disappointed with cable operated stuff. A lot of local autoparts places are starting to carry ATV brake pads and shoes. Might try to get someone at the locals to see about matching up for you.
If you still have the original 98 model Brake rotor and all, you could go the cable brake set-up pretty easily. The factory Brakes had the floating disc, the Hydraulics on ater models, the disc is fixed. The axel is different, the hub carrier is different, all kinds of stuff. If you bought yours already modified, you may be in for some pretty heavy research before replacement or up/downgrade.
