Default Smoke?

When I first fire the wolvy up she will smoke for a about 3 to 5 minutes then she clears up. I am not real sure what is going on or where I need to start to get this fixed. If any one can help I would appreciate it. Haven't had her for long and I bought it used so I am unsure of what has been done in the past with repairs or tuning.

Sounds like valve guide seals, bad news is the head will probably need to come off to get the springs out and the new seals put in. Do a compression check, and if it is a little low, that would be a good time to freshen up the top end while you have the head off.
