Default Switching from Raptor 350 to YFZ 450!!!! *HELP*

I am just about to switch from a Raptor 350 to a YFZ 450 and was told that there is a HUGE difference, which I do know. Are there any tips? Someone said that I need to "feather" the clutch more?!?! What does that mean? Please help!!!

YFZ is just higher geared. Takes a little getting used to. You'll be fine.

As for tips. Change oil often! And what year model are you getting?

Yeah just be more careful with the throttle and you will be OK...... The superior handling and suspension of the YFZ will allow you to go faster right away, so just make sure you get used to the power slowly and you will be fine.....

The "feathering" the clutch part is a fancy way of just saying let the clutch out slower from a dead stop.......You don't want to rev it and dump it or the machine will dump you on your butt.........

It is a big jump up....but the 350 is a fine gateway to the 450s......so all that riding you did on the 350 will pay off. You will be ripping around on the YFZ in no time.....
