87 Warrior Oil change

Default 87 Warrior Oil change

hey guys,
this 87 warrior is my first quad and it is time for an oil change. I got some oil at the yamaha shop and the guy said the filter was cleanable. where is it located on the bike and what do i have to do to clean it? thanks for any help

This is where it is located. You just remove those three bolts and it's under the cover. I don't know about cleaning it, though. I usually just buy a new one.

Never knew my Warrior had a cleanable oil filter. (They don't) Anyhow, just change it. They are cheap and very easy to do. Air filter is cleanable, oil no.
