2007 Grizzly 700 problem
Hi grizzly fans I have a 2007 yamaha grizzly 700 fi and my battery dies today. I go to jump it from my friends z400 and it would not start. Then I got my car and it started right up. The check engine light was on for about 5 minutes then it went off. Also My digital meter was reading kilometers and I could not change it back. Do you think that my check engine light was on because of the dead battery and I have no idea why it was reading kilometers
THANKS, RTBOY

With A low to dead battery it causes the computer and the gauge pod to do funny things. With EFI it takes more amperage/voltage to jump start as well, most quads don't have enough to do that. This is why the car battery worked and the ATV did not. After a good charging or a new battery all should be back to normal.
