Default WARRIOR 350 help

i have a 1996 yamaha warrior 350 that i bought from a guy who said it needed carb. tuned and air filter bc it had a K&N mass flow intake on it is it true that u have to adjust carb in order for it to run and if so how much of a adjustment should i make and will it run without the air filter im gonna buy one if it runs but im just saying would i need one to just start it

no it doesn't have to have a filter on it to start. It will probably suck more air then it is supposed to, and not run properly. But you shouldn't ride it without a filter anyways cause you don't want to suck dirt in the motor.

Sometimes my warrior won't start cold without the air filter. I don't know if it just gets to much air or it needs some back pressure but I was even using starter fluid and it wouldn't start until I set the air filter on it. Also, are there any other mods like exhaust. The carb should have new jets if it is running a K&N filter and exhaust.
