Default Warrior stator testing

I think either my stator or VR is bad as the battery is not getting a charge. When I did an ohms check on my charging coils I got 1.0 ohms when the manual says .7-.8. However my quad was cold and plus I have had readings on other things way off and they still worked fine. So I was thinking if I can disconnect the 3 plug connector for the charging coils and start the quad. Then check across all three phases for AC voltage. Is this ok to do and what voltage should it be putting out? What I am hoping this will tell me is if my VR is bad or my charging coils on my stator. Thanks for the help?

For those that care and want to know yes you can test the stator charging coils while it is running. Disconnect plug and start it up and put a volt meter across two terminals and switch to AC and with it running you should read about 60 VAC with it at rev. So even though the charging coils were not reading in spec they are in fact working, so I now believe electronics either work or they don't regardless of the ohms checking.

What I found was that I had multiple wires coming from the CDI, stator, and regulator that were all mashed together and having bare wires on frame and other bare wires. It had melted my plastic too. All this and it never blew the fuse. Crazy, so I have about 10 wires I need to repair and this thing should be good to go, I hope!
