I have a 05 Big Bear 400 4x4. Im wanting to put some aftermarket blue head light bulbs on it. I bought some off of e-bay but they want work. My bulbs have the plug made onto the bulb itself and the ones I orderd do not have the plug made on them. I cant find the ones with the plug made on them if any one knows where to get them give me a holla. Thks Michael

I know that you can get colored boots for light bulbs from autozone/oreilly's. These colored bulb boots are typically used in vehicles for interior accents (i.e. kick panels, dome light) I'm not sure of the intensity of heat that these slip on boots will tolerate. It is worth a try and should come assorted for a cheap price. (This will more than likely make your headlight dimmer, but will change its color).

 

Good idea I use to have some on my truck tail lights back in the day when the clear tail lights were hot I had the red bulb covers. Ill have to see if they have the blue ones. I know they sell blue blubs I just havent found them yet.

 

Can,t help you but my friend just bought them for his 660 Grizzly,I would think all Yamaha bulbs are the same,so they are out there. A little advice stay in your stock wattage, I bought those blue bulbs for my sled which had a 55/60 stock bulb and I went to 60/100 they were melting my wiring harness on high beam LOL so I had to pull them.

They are a nicer light then stock hologen though.
