Default Big Bear hard Start,Pulls Fine

I have an older big bear 87 model bought new 1988 ,it has a new starter and battery has been hard starting slow since new but has gotten worse as time goes on,It will start first time on the rope hot or cold but is slow on the starter and rarely starts on the starter now.Pushing in on the throttle slows the starter also.

Have replaced the stator coil and CDI in the past but still is the same.

Possible solenoid bad???

Any ideas

Clean all cables, including ground. Clean ground to frame.
Take battery to auto parts or motorcycle shop, have battery tested under load.
With a friend, pull plug, ground to frame, have friend crank engine over, check for spark.

Battery is new,Starter is new,CDI box, Stator& Coil new in last 6 mo's,this was a problem when we first bought this new in 87 it seemed to go away and come back at times, this atv at last known had approx 15,000 miles on it and runs great.I think i will check the battery volts at the starter while cranking maybe it has a bad contact in the solenoid,I thought also maybe timing but it starts to easy on the rope.
