Default help... 07 raptor rear brake caliper???

hey guys... got a question for ya
i have an '07 raptor 700.. my brakes were making noises so i bought brake pads and figured i'd put them on my self.. take off the caliper and have to fight to get the old pads to release out of the caliper.. finally get them out and try to push the piston back open so i can get the new pads on and bolt it back together.. heres the problem.. i cant get the piston to go back into position.. i tried to use a c-lamp to vise the piston back shut like i do when i change the brakes on my car.. nothing maybe a quarter or half an inch.. not enough.. try bleading the pressure out of the line.. that desnt work either.. when i do hit the breaks after i get the piston back in a little bit it does extend it back out... i'm completely stumped and dont know where to go with it next.. any ideas fellas i would really appreciate it..

Sounds like the caliper is seized and it's time for a new one.

No, the piston on the rear caliper of the raptor screws back in. Hopefully using the c clamp you didn't damage the caliper. You can go here and download the manual and check out page 7-18
