Default 91 Warrior Stalling

Hello,

I have a 91 Warrior that will idel but not run. Unit was running fine last run about 4 - 5 weeks ago. We rinsed it off. vehicle will start and idel but as soon as you crack the throttle it starts to stumble and stall. We have swapped coils from a good known unit not it. Cleaned out carb, not a fuel issue. Seems to be loosing spark under load, simular to a weak coil, you can keep it running but it seems to fire once in four. Not sure were to go with this. We dont have another cdi or we would try. New spark plug. heard different ideas one about a green wire on the reverse? Also have heard about TORS, but dont know if this unit has one, not anything like the banshees we have. All tors removed on them. Any ideals grealy apprecaited.

Yea tors arent on the 4 strokes, when you say coils which coils? ignition or the stator? also have you checked to see what the spark is looking like? you washed the bike and then this happened? something prolly got wet...before my stator took it a dump mine was like that, the wiring coming out of the case would get wet then it would be forever before it would even start again.

We swapped an ignition coil from a raptor 350. Did exactly the same thing. The CDI box on the raptor is different. Not too sure, acts like it may be a stator. how hard are they to pull out. I am a certified master technician for autos. So this should not be really difficult. I dont have a manual however

Its pretty easy, just unhook the stator wire from the harness, then pull the cover off, carefully unbolt the stator from the cover, they can be ohms tested to see if there good or not, but if its the original stator then its prolly done for or will be soon, which is extremely common on warriors, heres a free manual for a warrior Index of /Service_Manuals

Warriors dont have rev limiters so i guess you mean CDI? the raptor 350s do but the warriors will just float the valves.
