i have grease leaking from the silver cuppling where the back upper boot goes into the differential. i was in some deeper water this weekend i thought thats what it was but im wondering now.i squeezed the boot to see if water came out but i got nothin. any ideas please!!! supposed to ride this weeekend but plans do change i guess lol

If the The boot is torn, dont ride it. CV joints are not cheap and do not last long when unlubed and dirty. Clean the CV if it's dirty, repack with grease and but on a new boot.
If its A 2003 I hope the axle is OK,that year had weaker axles then 2002 and 2004 and up.

Also need to check and/or change the grease in the rearend and make sure the differential seals are not what's leaking. Water will get in and destroy everything in the rearend if you don't keep it changed. The grease could be leaking from the axle seal. If this is the case the seals need to be replaced. We just put all new bearings and seals in the rearend on my buddies' 660 Grizzly. The bearing and seal kit was $140, we removed the differential ourselves, and had a shop press all the old bearings/seals out and press all the new ones back in for $100.

Yes as Raptor450 said check the oil in the rear end asap...riding with water in that adds up to big $$$ quick ...dont ask me how i know(my grizz will float when im not on it
seals for the rear end are pretty reasonable if need be. If the cv boot is gone they can be replaced for about $30(parts only) From what i have experienced when a boot tears even washing the cv joint out in a parts wash, new grease and new boot, they generally wont last over 500-1000 miles after. I have been replacing my joints for about $150 or less(once again this is doing it myself with no labor)...If u can tell if it is grease or oil the boot has grease in it and the rear end runs gear oil.
