Default installing reeds

im considering installing some aftermarket reeds. just curious, do i have to rejet my 2 stroke for these?

You do not have to rejet for new or aftermarket reeds. You have to rejet anytime you add more airflow to the engine, like for an aftermarket airfilter or exhaust pipe.
