If you have a Raptor 350 you can forget about it. If you have a 660, you can get a full exhaust for around $600 (I like Curtis Sparks), Pro Design air filter kit and jets for around $150, 11:1 high compression piston (JE or CP are good) for around $200 + labor and boring if you go bigger, a cam (Webcam or Hotcam) for around $200, and port & polish the intake and exhaust ports for around $200-400 depending on who does it. I'm not sure how much of this work it would take to beat your buddy, but you could start with the exhaust, filter and jets. Or you could just save all of your money, ride your Raptor like it is and have fun...........why do you care if your buddy's Banshee is faster?

With the pipe, intake, and jetting you can make it closer. Might even beat him depending on the start and traction conditions. Be warned, if he does any motor mods it will be much cheaper to give up now on mods and start challenging him to a turning race. Dollar for dollar you will never keep up with a Banshee straight line on a 660.
