Looking for some advice on a 04 warrior, what to look for , and the good and bads . Looking for my daughter, price from dealer is a little high ($2250) but should be able to talk him down

The good is warriors are proven to be mechanically sound and you can find them used for a little bit of nothing. The bad is they are heavy, handle poorly and low powered. I currently have an old warrior that was beaten and not treated well. I picked up for like $600 and it's on it's second year. For that price I can't complain but if I was spending that kind of change I personally would look for a Honda 400EX. They are more stable, and better balanced.

I've had both and strongly favored the 400EX. In my opinion they are superior machines in every aspect.

warriors cant be beat for reliability are are rock solid, though a 400 class machine can be had for about the same price

I have a 2003 warrior. Its pretty nice but too heavy. I also have 3" spacers so it handles much better. I would get a 400ex
