Forgive me of this has been covered this is my neighbor spare quad. Its a Big Baer 250cc that is getting no spark. He is convinced it is the soleniod. Anyone know how to test this with a volt meter or have any suggestions on why this may be getting no spark?

 

i really dont know how, but it could be several things, the stator, the coil, and the capacitor discharge/CDI box the coil is your cheapest bet, at near 100$ cdi box can cost 400, stator 275$? anyway, goodluck could just be an electrical connection also. the solenoid wouldnt cause it to have no spark though. just cause it to click when you hit the starter
