should i use the hmf jetkit?

Default should i use the hmf jetkit?

i just bought an hmf pipe that comes with jets, should these be fine to use? im not sure how many different sizes it comes with, but if i can id rather just use it then buy a dyno jet kit, any experience would be appreciated thanks!

They are probably sending you just a main and a pilot, which are ballpark for an otherwise stock machine. Personally I stay away from Dynojet because they use their own numbering system and it can be confusing getting the right jets. Unless you have some other motorwork done, the HMF jets should be close enough until you figure out where the lean/rich areas are to smooth out.

there Jetting specs are usually a little on the rich side....which is better then lean but its still a size to big alot of the time, dyno jets are nice and the guide they give you on how to dial your carb in depending on your elevation, airbox setup, engine/exhaust and stuff is pretty accurate and its a different scale of jets but its good stuff.

aw man to different answers, thank you for the advice though, and besides the intake and exhuast the atv is stock

Interesting, I had to go a bit richer when I bought my pipe and jet kit from them, but not much. HMF has an excellent jetting guide on their website, and knowledgable people that will answer your questions on there as well. Also, you can get off brand(cheaper) jets from Rockymountain, but the sizing is consistant with Keihin.

hmm maybe its the different elevations or that they just send out rich jets for warriors lol, because everybody i know that has an HMF on a warrior will say that the jet they give is to rich, i know it was with mine they sent a 152.5 and i had to use a 150. but now i use a 146 DJ.
