Hey Bart

Charles B. had tiped me off that you sold the Raptor for the 250r. It does look trick. We got to set up a time to go riding again, even if it is at Munster or Rocky Ridge or wherever.
P.S. Got some of those suits for you ,but i'm not sure you can ride that cherry in the mud... You might have to use them to polish it!

Charles

Man, I'm in Denton, Texas, can I ride it? That's is a nice ride... Bet that will go great in the wood at your ranch pushing over trees. I placed a bid on E-bay for a '88 250R last week. It's mint condition. I was second to highest bidder. Could have got for $5900. I got an e-mail today from the seller, he said the high bidder never replied to him so in three days I can buy it or he will place it back on e-bay. I can't make up my mind if I want it. It's all stock with new plastic and seat cover. Been gaarage kept for the last 11 years.

BlueRaptor,

Do you have the link to the web address of the 250R? I don't think I would have traded my Raptor for a stock 250R, but it would still be nice to add it to the collection.

And no, I don't think I'll be using this one on the trees as a bulldozer like I did the Raptor

Let me know what happens with the R.

RideRed04,

Thanks "son", I didn't have any idea what they sold for back in 1988. 1988 was the year I graduated from HS and all I had on my mind then was girls! It's interesting to see how they have appreciated over the years, even the 250R .

Charles_Banshee,

Thanks for getting the suits, they will still come in handy!

I'm looking forward to another ride. At this point it will be on one of the Prairie's since the R doesn't have a set of ***** yet. I'm thinking I may just set it the R up for the dunes since the other Charles was talking about how much fun they are.

Let me know where you (and everyone else) wants to go and I'll be there. If you're ready to head back to the ranch, just let me know. We were there again on Sunday and had a great time. Our tracks were still there where we had to go around and through the "tree'd war zone" and it went much easier. Besides, we need to make some new trails up some of those hills. Do you think you could get that bulldozer started ?

warrior89350,

That idea about the hard case lock is not a bad idea. I was just telling someone tonight that I'm a lot more paranoid about the R being stolen from the back of the truck than I was the Raptor. If the Raptor was stolen, I'd just make a claim on my insurance and get a new one. However, even if the insurance paid me for the lose of the R, it would still be very hard to replace.
