Default Why You Should Get a Yamaha Raptor 250R

A lot has been said about the 2011 Yamaha Raptor 250R. Many have speculated that the only thing that changed is the addition of reservoir shocks and that the frames are not an improvement from the past Yamaha TVs. But let’s go dig deeper and tackle its properties one by one. What are the features of this Yamaha ATV than can wipe the floor with all the other ATV models on it? So lets start this thread!

There really is not much of a 250 4 stroke sport ATV class, other then the 2011 Honda TRX250X and Can Am DS250 . So you have a good 1 in 3 shot of being the best.

Yamaha has made the 250 so popular again that there are races dedicated to the Raptor 250 ONLY series!

There Raptor only because I guess there more popular than the Honda X and DS 250 for that type of racer, but when only 3 manufacturers out of 7 make a 250 Sport its not considered that Popular over all like the 450 Class where most all make one.

Default yamaha raptor 250r

But still Yamaha made a great atv, considering that the atv is one of the lightest, but I do wish they create an atv that have the real engine power, the raptor 250r still lacks in this aream

Its my first time to hear the YFZ450 model, I love the 700R my friend owns one and he's using it whenever he shops for his groceries. Anyway back to the topic, for me yamaha created the 250r for the atv masses, for beginners and intermediates atv drivers

Its not meant to be as popular as the 450 race series as as its a way Yamaha looks at as a entry level race bike meant to get more consumer interested in racing and hopefully more people interested in Yamaha!

The 250 tho kinda small and low on HP with a few mods can become a pretty potent racer! There are tone of accessories/hop ups for the 250!

In motorcross racing the 250 class is just as popular as the 450 class, its odd its not the same with ATVs. They use the exact same motors.

Its my first time to hear the YFZ450 model

In 2010 Yamaha made a YFZ450R and a YFZ450X looks like there not in the 2011 line up though according to this link.
