I also have a 2000 warrior, I installed a k&n jet kit, an alum. flange with a clamp on filter(uni-filter) and removed the airbox lid. I definitly feel an increase in power, roughly 5-10%. It makes the front end pretty light up to third gear. It also cured a hesitation at about 1/4 throttle. I was lucky, it ran great with the first settings(as per instructions)I later tried to richen it slightly, then lean it out and neither were as good as my first settings. But you may have to spend an afternoon tinkering, the instructions are pretty good.
