cant get starter off warrior

Default cant get starter off warrior

99 Warrior- pulled the 2 bolts off the ears of the starter and starter won't pull out... any ideas?

Pull harder, basically. They can get lodged in pretty well if it is the original starter. Improvise something to pry it out, but don't damage the case.

Thanks for the input- I had to put a small pry bar between the case and starter, and then again between frame and starter to wiggle it back and forth. It worked loose and finally came out after a few minutes of wiggling it back and forth.
