Lift kit for Wolverine

Default Lift kit for Wolverine

There is a lift kit for a 07 wolverine 450 on Ebay Wolverine 450, Kodiak, Bruin, yamaha lift kit: eBay Motors (item 150506512412 end time Oct-23-10 17:15:15 PDT)
Does anyone know anything about these?

I believe the wolverine is a straight rear axle. Something to think about when putting a lift kit on a straight axle is what you are really gaining. You are not going to have any more ground clearance, plus you are going to raise your center of gravity causing your bike to be more tippy. I ride with a guy who put a similar lift on an older straight axle polaris and immediatly had to start fixing/replacing front drive shaft parts/u-joints because of the added stress of them being slide out of the differential. I guess if you want more clearance for bigger tires or just like the look of the lifted wolvy, then go for it, but I don't think it is going to make the ride any better.
