2005 kodiak starting question
Hey guys so my Kodiak doesn't start good.It seemed to start fine before with this kit in but i took the carb apart just to check it out before winter. It has a complete new carb kit in from Shindy (good quality) and the float is adjusted to 13mm from the gasket service to the very top of the float. It takes at least a good 1-2 minutes on choke before it will idle.(this is about 25 degrees out and sitting about 3 hours after running) also when it does idle the idle is a bit choppy but no to bad kind of goes a little low then high and so on..the other thing i noticed is if i adjust my pilot screw it does nothing, if i close it it will turn the engine off but it will idle the same from .5 turns out to over 3 turns out, no change in idle speed. Does anyone have any suggestions? It almost seems when adjusting the float height the float is lower than the pilot screw (maybe pilot screw is hardly getting gas) let me know!
Thanks
Thanks
