86 225 moto4 ??? shifting issues

86 225 moto4 ??? shifting issues
Hi, I was given a 1986 225 moto 4. the bike starts good, but will only go into 1st gear and neutral....... it's like the shifter is jammed and won't go into a higher gear. Any ideas what is wrong or what I should do??
