88 Warrior Shock

I have a 88 Warrior that needs a new rear shock. I have access to a 99 Warrior for parts. Will the 99 shock fit? Will I need to swap the linkage and/or swingarm to work. Thanks!

If I where you I would try to buy a stock raptor660R rear shock its a little bigger but bolts right up and has better handling
