Default CPI inframe big bore pipes on stock banshee?

I have a banshee with only bolt on mods. I have a set of toomey tr6 pipes on it right now. I want to switch them up and i really like the cpis. I am looking for pipes that will give me a lot of top end power.
Big bore pipes shouldn't hurt the engine as long as i got the correct jetting right?

Heres my mods:
Toomey tr6
k&n air filter and pods.
v-force 3 reeds.
+3 timing plate
15-41 gearing

That will be a pretty big difference tr-6 pipes are meant for just a plain stock banshee, after some mods they dont perform as well as other pipes will. CPI makes drag pipes your midrange and topend will be alot better, either Shearer, sniper, cpi or rocket r2s...all good inframe drag pipes.

I would check to make sure that the CPI drag pipes are made to work with the factory porting because if they aren't you may loose power over the entire power curve. From my experience with 2-strokes the more you get away from the factory diameter and design the more you need cylinder port work to take advantage of them.

A good engine builder with a flow bench and experience with Banshee pipes and cylinders should be able to answer your question and also suggest what carbs, compression ratio domes in your heads and ignition timing curve to run with those pipes for the best performance.

CPI will run fine without porting, it will still run strong. Porting will really utilize its potential though but thats really any pipe honestly. Its not like your trying to run out of frame pipes without silencers thats a different story. just keep in mind CPI is a drag pipe its not going to have that low-mid power alot of other pipes will have.

You need porting (mild at least), just a bit more compression, and personally, I would add more timing to take advantage of the CPI's. The CPI's are awesome. Good luck and give feedback.

The CPI big bore pipes are for big bore engines. You would be better off with the CPI small bore on a mostly stock engine.
