Hi today I got my new FMF powerbomb and FMF powercore 4 and UNI air filter for my Yamaha Warrior 350. The new jets I got wont be in till Tuesday and I was wondering if I could run my ATV lean for a one day ride. whats the damage that could happen and power in/decreases?

 

Drill your own jet till the new ones come in. Running it lean CAN overheat it

 

Naw i dont want to mess around with me jets JUSTINCASE but is it really bad like will i burn out vavles and stuff?

 

you can run it lean but you just cant go pounding on it hard and for long only run it 3/4 throuttle and if you go wide open dont do it for to long mine is running lean because i live in michigan and the cold weather will do the same so i dont run it wide open so i wont burn the motor up

 

No its just bad on the motor parts will just wear out faster

 

or you can run your stock till it comes??

 

Thanks yeah ill just run it stock for now not worth the chance

Now, it's sort of apples and oranges because I was running a supercharger when this happened but still.............it took about 3 seconds to do this to 5 out of 8 pistons.

Just saying; not a good idea to run any engine lean.
