1989 Yamaha Moto4 350cc - Can I Safely Switch to Synthetic Oil?

My father just drained the oil for his 1989 Yamaha Moto-4 350cc ATV and was curious if it would be safe to replace it with synthetic oil. Any help would be appreciated.

yup you can use synthetic my friend just started using synthetic in his 1983 185 three wheeler all four wheeler like synthetic more
