when I was 11 i had a big red 3 wheeler and i drove the **** out of it. In hind sight being a parent I don't know how I would feel about my 11 year old drive one of those. when i was 13 I had a suzuki 250 quadracer and when i turned 14 i got the 500..my friend also 14 had a pretty modded banshee. it really depends on the childs size/maturity/skill.

A honda 300 fourtrax is a good starter machine 2 or 4 wheel.. its far from a handful and it sits very small for a 300cc atv and he can pound the daylights out of it and it doesnt even faze it.

Not according to the stickers that say stuff like "Nobody under 16 years old should drive this ATV." I guess 11-year-olds are supposed to have like a 200cc limit. And such rules do make some sense.

actually- in mass, no person under the age of 16 is allowed on any atv / bike larger than 90 cc's- and no child 10 or under is even allowed on any motorized vehicle... even on your own private property!
