Glad to see alot of members on here pay attention to things like safety! At 11 years old, the Wolvy is too big and too heavy. When I bought quads for my kids, I always thought about weight/size in the worst case scenario - if it was on top of my kid and they were pinned under it, would I want something that weighed 500 lbs, or 200?? There is a reason they make quads in all sizes.....I'm sure there is something more your boy's size that will be fun and manageable.

I don't care how big he is. If he cannot sit on the seat with knees bent and feet on the pegs, plus elbows bent and fingers can easily reach and use the controls he's not on the correct machine.
The rider should be able to throw the machine around, not the machine throwing them around.
""IF"" he's that big, a Kymco Mongoose is a great quad to begin on. It's a CVT with forward/reverse. Everyone loves mine. I actually leave the 300ex and 250R home when I trail ride.
